Wicken and Burwell Fens

The Cambridgeshire Lodes are a series of man-made waterways, believed to be Roman in origin and these fens of part of this network. Wicken Fen is one of the oldest nature reserves in England and has been in the ownership of the National Trust for more than 100 years. There are lots of routes crossing the area for walkers, rider and cyclists to explore including part of the National Cycle Network.
