Thornhome Farm

Thornhome Farm woods are a large woodlands made up of old trees including beech, conifers and mixed native trees. Close to the village of Yieldshields not far from Carluke, with limited off road parking. Way marked with grassy wide foot paths throughout. Good site for wild flowers and I saw several butterflies and bumble bees. Good site also for birds. Good views and once again on my travels I was close to wind turbines.
