Theberton Wood

It's very peaceful in this restored wood, with lots of broadleaved trees. The wood is bisected by the aptly-named Pretty Road. There are plenty of birds such as goldcrests and green and great spotted woodpeckers. Some historical-looking banks and ditches, and a couple of ponds too. Very good for butterfly rarities in the summer. Wellies are advisable - after a short while the paths are very wet.
