Ten Acre Pits

Ten Acre Pits is a small mature woodland nestled within the Paramount estate, Huyton, that is designated as a Local Wildlife Site. The site is highly undulating; the result of its history as a Marl Pit. In 2012, the Friends of Ten Acre Pits secured funding to install new paths, seating, signage and a sculpture trail to help more people access the woods and enjoy the wildlife it supports.
