Temple Copse

This local wildlife site mainly features oak and hazel trees, whose acorns and nuts provide a feast for squirrels and jays in the autumn and winter. Other animal inhabitants include badgers, wood mice, woodpeckers and tits. Carpets of bluebells and yellow primroses provide colour in April and May. It is one of a group of public open spaces being enhanced as a 'Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace'. Access is via Boltons Lane or Dunford Place
