Southcote Linear Park

A small but generally peaceful woodland, bordering the river, on the edge of a residential area. Below the canopy trees, which include ash and alder, is a wetland ground flora. In summer, especially, it is good for wildlife but at times of heavy rain the path may be very muddy and flooded in places. The poplar plantation south of the river is inaccessible.
