Shelly Lane Wood

Shelly Lane Wood is a thin strip of mixed woodland running along the edge of a residential estate. There are two main footpaths through the wood which run the whole length. Also Shelly Lane from the northern edge of the wood becomes a public right of way footpath and so many views of the wood are possible away from traffic. Parking is very difficult but some maybe found in local residential streets adjacent to the wood. Several small songbirds are present. Worth a visit if you live close by.
