Shard End Millennium Wood

The title Shard End Millennium Wood does not seem to figure in any Birmingham City Council publications. However this wood is contained in the wonderful resource called the Kingfisher Country Park which is a preservation project along the Cole Valley. This wood consists mainly of young broadleaved trees although there are other more established trees. A wonderful place to explore especially for the nature lover. A car park is situated in Gressel Lane.
