Rufford Old Hall

The woodland of Rufford Old Hall lies in the grounds of a restored sixteenth century Tudor building; which is reportedly haunted! Alongside the wood are very enjoyable views of the Leeds-Liverpool canal and a variety of wildlife such as great spotted woodpeckers, kingfishers, buzzards and hedgehogs. A great place to visit throughout the year with bluebells in the springtime and wonderful autumnal colours.
