Footpath to woodland off Kirkton Ave approx 1 mile east of Bathgate off A89. Leads to Marina Ave in Boghall. Limited parking on roadside. Surfaced track with signposts at each end of walk. Steep gradient wide in most parts. Nearest public toilets in Bathgate. Bus stop 5 minute walk away. Train station situated in Bathgate 1 mile west of wood. Small mixed woodland with some new tree planting. Mature trees in places with several Scots Pines. Good views of Pentland Hills at top of hill.
