Parc Cwm Darran

The main park area is the landscaped site of the former Ogilvie colliery. The park also includes all or parts of the former Darran, Groesfaen and Wingfield collieries and the section of the "Beechinged" railway line from Bargoed to just beyond the abandoned village of Brithdir/Pen-y-Bank, which is now a part of the National Cycling Network (route 469).
