Netherhouses Challenge 2000

A large mixed wood plantation on the outskirts of Armadale on the B8084. Entrance is down track opposite the new Asda being built in Armadale. The wood is beside Springfield Farm Challenge and was planted with 36,000 young trees in 2000 and 2001. The area was formerly a dairy farm until the 1980s. Limited parking at a layby opposite entrance. Peaceful woods with open meadows, with lots of wild flowers and butterflies.
