L.R.C. - Murieston

Murieston can be reached from A71 south of Livingston. Follow sign for South Murieston. Several access points with plenty off road parking. Mainly wide shale path, well signposted with several link ups for walks in the area. Popular with walkers/dogwalkers & cyclists. Good views of Pentlands & Linhouse Water. All facilities to be found in Livingston itself which is about 3 miles from site. Good mixture of trees & wildflowers, great for butterflies & bees of which I saw plenty of on my visit.
