Lower Ince Woodland

Extensive, open woodland at the end of Phoenix Way off the A573 Warrington Road with beech, birch, hazel and young oaks. There are numerous wide pathways from local residential areas, a new Health Centre at the main entry point, and a large number of flashes (open water) with ducks and waterfowl. Essentially an amenity wood, there is plenty of space for walking, dog walking, cycling and nature watching.
