Harperleas Woodland

This plantation, south of Harperleas Reservoir, blankets the waters edge with conifers including spruce, pine, larch and fir. These trees are grown over a 40 to 60 year period, and make a nice change in scenery from the surrounding grassland. There is an enjoyable path between the wood and the reservoir, which is well maintained and part of a circular walk to Bishop Hill.
