Green Link-woodland Management

The Greenlink is a 7km cycle path creating a direct route from Strathclyde Country Park to Motherwell Town Centre. An area in Forgewood has been planted as a new woodland and part of the Greenlink Project. The trees will provide shelter and habitat for wildlife and will be a future source of wood fuel. This woodland is one of many planted around the country to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
