The combination of ancient broad leaved woodland and chalk grassland means this 30-acre nature reserve has an abundance of wildlife. Best seen in summer when wildflowers are in bloom, birdwatchers may glimpse red kite, buzzard, chaffinch, bullfinch and song thrush as well as summer visitors such as chiffchaff, blackcap and willow warbler. Other attractions include Burnett moth, brimstone butterfly, bee orchid, common lizard and slow worm. Access via car park in Cock Lane.
