Gallow Hill (1)

A popular community woodland with views of Stranrae. Local people have designed the paths here, and planted over 100,000 young trees to extend the forest! It's a great place for a breath of fresh air and wide views across the countryside and the sea: come and while away an hour or so watching the ferries steaming in and out of Cairnryan. There are no waymarked trails, but there's a good network of paths to explore this growing, changing woodland.
