Gairloch And Conon Estate - Flowerdale Glen

The walk is waymarked and takes you through the sheltered glen of Flowerdale and past Flowerdale House. Past the lovely waterfall of Flowerdale. The name Flowerdale comes from the owners of the estate after the many wildflowers that grew in the Glen. There is parking in the village opposite the turning for the harbour. Garloch village is well worth a visit and had a very interesting museum with lots of information on the history of the area and a great tea room with home baking.
