Franklin's Spring

This small (one hectare) wood features mainly ancient beech and oak trees, plus a dense carpet of hazel, hawthorn and holly. Spring flowers include bluebell and wood anemone and roe deer and muntjac deer are sometimes seen. To the south is a large area of grassland with spectacular uninterrupted views of the countryside. Access is from a pathway in Hornhill Road.
