Forsinain (1)

A large wood situated on the A897 about 5 miles outside of Forsinard heading north. Off road park and from there it is a walk up a wide track through the woods. Lots of conifers and young plantings. As you walk up the track you are rewarded with great views looking across this part of Sutherland. Good place for wildlife including birds and insects and during my walk I saw lots of small birds, buzzard & hen harriers. A very peaceful wood to really get away from it all and well worth a visit
