Ellemford

Ellemford collectively describes six areas of woodland located on each side of the Whiteadder Water near Ellemford Bridge. The largest area (Lodge Wood) is on the southern side of the river. The Southern Upland Way passes across the central section. This is mixed woodland comprising mature pine and beech trees as well as an area of new plantation.
