Eastern Avenue

There are no amenities near this wood as its so far from town, but the walk is a leisurely stroll through open fields & woodland. You may have to climb a few stiles but that is to be expected. There are sign posts pointing the way to different villages, and you can walk to Elmhurst via this route which is approximately 3 miles. This maybe a long trek for very small children & its definitely not pushchair friendly due to the small woodland footpaths, which are more like dirt tracks.
