This wood has no known name at present. It is close to the site of the Lutley Mill (not the pub). The only access seems to be from Lutley Lane. It is a mixed woodland but mainly broadleaf. Only a small piece seems to be accessible the rest is on the sides of very steep banks leading to a stream, which is thought to be part of Lutley Gutter. This area was the site of much industry in the past such as forges etc.
