Devil's Dip

Devils Dip is a disused pit situated on the corner of Circuit Lane and the Bath Road. It is a steep sided wooded area which almost formal a bowl. The pond and marshy area in the bottom of the dip is fed by runoff from Prospect Park and the Bath Road. Grass meadow area on the south edge and bordered to the east and south by a hedge line, some of which has been managed using the traditional method of hedge laying.
