Cwmcarn Forest

This former mining area, incorporating plenty of places from which to admire the stunning landscape, offers something for everyone. The extensive path network will take visitors past hedgerows, through mixed woodland to lakes and streams where you might spot herons and kingfishers. Walking leaflets are available from the visitor centre. Please note that parking charges now apply across the site. Buses stop in Cwmcarn village.
