Crynant Forest

Crynant Forest occupies much the western slopes of Mynydd Marchywell between the Tawe and Dulais rivers. From the top, there are good views into each valley and over to the Brecon Beacons. Buses run along the Tawe valley and there are stops which are convenient for Crynant Forest. Check the map and timetable for a stop near a bridge over the river! National Cycle Route 43 and the St Illtyd's Way footpath pass here.
