WOODLAND WELCOME WOOD
A well used broadleaved wood with plenty of educational and recreation activities on the notice boards. Even after some wet weather the pathways were quite good - just a little squidgy in places. New trees are being planted and mature timber is being cut and put to good use. There's even a composting toilet for the children!!! The only car parking area is by the main gate on the B3308 where there is room for only about 4 or 5, but sensible parking is possible on the road along side the wood.
