Corserig

Corserig is a large woodlands just outside the village of Kirkconnel on the A70. To reach site turn off A70 at sign for Kelloside and then immediately turn right onto track that leads to woods. The track is suitable for cars with plenty of parking at various points. It is also possible to access the Southern Upland Way from this site. Mixed broadleaf woods with young plantings. The views are stunning of the surrounding countryside and it is worth visiting woods for just these. Very popular site.
