Clauchrie Plantation

Clauchrie Plantation is a Forestry Commission woodland of predominantly conifer plantation. It is situated on the unclassified single track road between Closeburn and Auldgirth. Parking is extremely limited and there are no visitor facilities. It is popular with local runners, although there are no waymarked routes. There are proposals for wind turbines at Blackcraig Hill which may impact on access.
