Charlton Forest

This wood is contiguous with Selhurst Park, together giving nearly 1000 ha to explore; even after several visits you're unlikely to have seen it all. A large varied woodland including beech, hazel, oak as well as conifers with variety of terrains and features along with a number of national/long-distance paths passing through, e.g. South Downs Ways, New Lipchis Way, West Sussex Literary Trail.
