Cathlawhill & Pt. Wairdlaw Farms

Large mixed woodland beside the entrance to Beecraigs County Park. Limited parking close to site. Wide grass waymarked footpaths throughout woods. Some new plantings with some old beech. Great for wildlife, saw lots of birds on my visit. Gradients in sections of footpath. Great views of surrounding Bathgate Hills. About 1 mile from visitor centre at Beecraigs Country Park which has all amenities and is well worth a visit.
