Buildings Farm

Buildings Farm Wood is located to the north of Hartshorne. Planted in 1999 it comprises of 29.69 hectares of broadleaf trees in an undulating landscape. Accessible on foot from the bridleway that runs between the A514 and Gravel Pit Hill,this wood features broad, grassy rides and has some established hedgerows where crab apple and may blossoms in spring. Adjoining Carver's Rocks SSSI at the south end of Foremarke reservoir it is also accessible from Rowan and Hartshorne Woods.
