Brecon Beacons National Park Forests - Cwm Giedd

Cwm Giedd Forest lies just north of Ystradgynlais , just off the A4067. The wood has a car park and buses run along the side road (a cul-de-sac) to Cwmgiedd village. There are plenty of paths in this wood, several of which link to walks up into the Brecon Beacons National Park. Many of the lower level walking opportunities converge on Cwmgiedd village. There is a picnic area and an information board which explains how to make the most of a visit here.
