Dating back to 1252, Bradfield Woods is bursting with history, tradition and natural beauty. As you enter the site you'll notice that the traditional practice of coppicing is still in use on this site, making it one of only a few of the UK's woodlands that still enforce this practice. There is a handy nature guide that you can pick up at the entrance and this points out interesting facts about the history and nature that can be found on site as you make your way around any of the 3 trails.
