Wood situated close to village of Blackridge. Follow B718 from Harthill to Blackridge. Just before entering village turn left at crossroads and follow road for a couple of miles to reach woods. Limited parking off road. Mixed woodlands with several entrances with conifer plantations and young broad leaf trees. Grass foot paths wide in most parts with slight gradient. Nearest public transport & toilets in Blackridge. Wood is close to Forrest Reservoir with good views of surrounding hills.
