Blacktongue

Blacktongue is the larger part of the woods and is right beside Blacktongue 2 & opposite Boglea Woods. There are several entrances down a narrow farm track with limited off road parking. I accessed the woods at an entrance near the village of Greengairs. It is made up of mixed broadleaf woodlands and a conifer plantation. Some open grassland too with wide paths throughout. Good views looking across to Greengairs which is only a short walk away with some limited facilities there. Good views.
