Bellsrig Woodland

A large young woodland between Shieldhill and California a few miles outside of Falkirk. There are several entrances to the site at both villages with plenty of off road parking. Way marked with lots of wide gravel paths. Good access for all and popular with locals especially dog walkers. Lots of meadows in with the trees so good for insects such as butterflies, dragonflies & bumblebees. Good views looking across to the Firth of Forth. Well worth a visit.
