A lovely wood situated just behind Belfast Castle. A good road takes you to start of walk, and there are two medium sized car parks. The path starts before the entrance to the castle. Paths are steep and muddy, not surfaced and narrow; not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. There are also some steps. The wood is good for cycling, dog walking, and for families with children. Fantastic views and an abundance of wildlife; Kestrels, Skylark and Peregrines. Closest toilets at Belfast Castle.
