Beechbrae Wood (1)

Travelling east to west on A89 on reaching Blackridge turn left onto B718 Heights Road for almost a mile. Blackridge Farm wood is situated on left hand side of road. Some off road parking by main entrance. The woods are made up of young mixed woodland with plenty of wide blaze footpaths throughout. Very popular with dog walkers. Good views of Pentland Hills as well as looking across Breich Brays. Lovely autumn colours at this time of the year with lots of blackberries. Good for birds too.
