Bangour Woods (Old Wood)

Bangour Old Wood is situated close to Dechmont in the Bathgate Hills in the grounds of Bangour Trout Fishery. The waymarked footpath leads through mixed mature woods.The woods are beside Bangour reservoir, which was originally built in 1902 as a water supply for the now closed Bangour Hospital. Parking through gates to fishery with set opening times during fishing season.
