Finding all of our geocache boxes may be trickier than you think!

Do you love exploring woodlands, working out riddles and finding hidden treasures? Then come along to Glen Finglas to try out our woodland geocaching route!

We have hidden geocache boxes throughout our woodland. Armed with just a map and your wits to help you, can you find them all?

Come along anytime between 10am and 2pm, but please be aware the route can take around an hour to complete. The starting point will be at the Visitor Gateway building in Lendrick Hill car park, where the ranger will give you everything you need for the route. The event is aimed at families but adults without children are welcome to take part.

This is a free, drop-in event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear is advised.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Date: Saturday 7 September, 10am-2pm.
  • Price: free, but donations to support the management of our woodlands are welcome. 
  • Location: Visitor Gateway building in Lendrick Hill car park, near Brig o’ Turk, FK17 8HR.

This is a free, drop-in event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.

Unable to make it?

Limited spaces are available for our events. If you can no longer make it we appreciate you letting us know.

How to cancel your ticket:

  1. log in to your Eventbrite account
  2. go to the top right corner and select 'Tickets'
  3. click on the event you wish to cancel
  4. click 'Cancel Order'
  5. then 'Yes, cancel this order'.

You should then receive a cancellation confirmation to your email. Alternatively, you can inform us that you can no longer attend by emailing AlexaRoditi@woodlandtrust.org.uk.
