Nature discovery walk at Glen Finglas

Come and see the beautiful flora of Glen Finglas.

Join us on a guided walk around Glen Finglas led by one of our wonderful volunteers.

Take a closer look at what’s growing and blooming across this vast estate at the heart of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Guided by our knowledgeable volunteer Maggie, we'll explore lush grasslands dotted with wildflowers and enchanting ancient woodland where lichens flourish.

This walk will take you along our lower path network. Please note that some areas of ground will be uneven and there are stone steps.

This event is free but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately in warm clothes. Good walking boots and waterproofs are necessary for this walk.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This walk is not suitable for children under the age of six.

  • Date: Sunday 7 July, 10.30am-1pm.
  • Price: free, but donations to support the management of our woodlands are welcome. 
  • Location: Glen Finglas Visitor Centre, Lendrick Hill car park, Brig o’ Turk, FK17 8HR.

  • Access: there is no public transport to the site. In some areas the ground may be muddy, uneven and some areas will be accessed through kissing gates and steps.
  • Parking: ample parking is available at Lendrick Hill car park near Brig o’ Turk.

  • Facilities: there is one accessible toilet in the Visitor Gateway with baby changing facilities.
  • Dogs: are unfortunately not allowed on this walk.

Booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential as places are limited.

How to cancel your ticket

Unable to make it? Spaces are limited for our events, so if you can no longer attend, we appreciate you letting us know. 

  1. Log in to your Eventbrite account.
  2. Go to the top right corner and select 'Tickets'.
  3. Click on the event you wish to cancel.
  4. Click 'Cancel Order'.
  5. Then 'Yes, cancel this order'.

You should then receive a cancellation confirmation to your email.
