Come along on this guided walk to explore the Minera Lead Mines, Plas Power Woods and the Clywedog Valley.

Along the route you’ll get the chance to enjoy our woodlands, find out how we manage them to encourage wildlife, and discover the area’s fascinating history and industrial past. At the end of the walk we have arranged transport back to the starting point.

This is a free event, but booking via Eventbrite is essential.

The event is supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. We are proud to be part of the Wrexham Forest Partnership, protecting our local trees and woodlands for the benefit of our communities.

Don't forget

Please come equipped with suitable footwear and clothing for the prevailing conditions on the day – waterproofs highly recommended!

Please also bring your lunch and a drink – consider a toasty warm thermos if you have one.

This walk will be cancelled if there is severe weather. Please check your emails before leaving home.

Under 18s must be accompanied and supervised by their parent or guardian.
