Join us for a day of community tree planting to help us restore and expand Scotland’s rainforest!

Our second phase of tree planting at Gleann Shìldeag will get underway this spring, with over 300,000 trees to be planted around the glen. Come along to get involved and find out more about the ‘Our Rainforest Futures’ project, which aims to empower and inspire local communities to take care of this special habitat.

We will meet at 10am and head to the tree planting area for a short demo before we start planting. You are welcome to plant trees for as long as you wish, until 12.30 when we will be wrapping up as a group.

This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Warm, waterproof outdoor clothing and walking boots are advised.

There will be limited facilities and no toilets on site. The nearest public toilets are in the village in Shieldaig.

We will be taking photos and video at this event but you'll be able to opt out on the day should you wish. Images will only be used to benefit the work of the Woodland Trust.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
