Come along to Billington in Lancashire this autumn and grab a spade to help plant a brand new broadleaf woodland.

Making up part of the Northern Forest, Swindells Wood is in need of new trees to join up existing pockets of woodland. Our community planting day will help create a haven for nature and a wild place for people to visit for years to come.

This is a free event but booking is essential. Please book via Eventbrite. There is a morning and afternoon session available, so please book onto the one that suits.

Don't forget

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for tree planting.

Spades will be provided but feel free to bring one along if you have one.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian.
