Why plant native species?

Our native trees have adapted to our climate and soils, so they’re easier to grow and maintain and more resilient too. Some excel in certain conditions, but they’re tolerant to most situations so you can choose any trees from our list with confidence.

Why buy your trees from us?

  • Every tree you buy from our shop funds our vital work as a charity to plant and protect trees and woods across the UK.
  • Our trees are all sourced and grown in the UK and Ireland and are fully traceable from seed to sale, reducing carbon footprint and disease risk.
  • Our saplings are peat-free and grown from seed in a container, so they have strong, complete roots and can grow quickly once planted.
