Park Wood (8)

A very large and long established area of woodland, it was the first to be designated as a National Nature Reserve in an urban area. An abundance of native broad leaved trees and wild flowers can be found in the wood and it is the richest site in Greater London for lichens on trees. It also supports wide range of birds. There is a Long Term Management Plan, which is a 100 year vision for the woods.
